ELECTION FORUMS GO TO COLLEGE
League of Women Voters, partners, to hold forums at three Bay Area colleges

Sept, 2004 -- The League of Women Voters is known for its tireless efforts during election season moderating candidate forums and informing the public about ballot measures. This year it will take its show on the road to three Bay Area colleges to help energize young voters and get more of them to the polls.

Media Center Announces Purchase of New Facility
May, 2003 -- The Midpeninsula Community Media Center has purchased a building located at 900 San Antonio Road in Palo Alto for $2.139 million. The building is just under 10,000 square feet and has a second floor over the front portion. The property includes a parking lot with 24 parking places. "The building was remodeled extensively in 1997 by a dot.com that spared no expense and has a very creative feeling to it," said Executive Director Annie Niehaus, "We are so lucky to have found such a great deal. We plan to move in as soon as possible. We do have a few tenant improvements to make, like building a new studio."

Mid-Peninsula Access Corp. and Silicon Valley Community Communications Announce their Merger to Form Midpeninsula Community Media Center
Combined Organization to Provide Communication Center And Resources to Midpeninsula Communities of Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton and Stanford

Palo Alto, California, - September 26, 2001 - The Boards of Directors of Mid-Peninsula Access Corporation (MPAC) and Silicon Valley Community Communications (SVCC) announced today that they are merging to create a joint organization called the Midpeninsula Community Media Center. The two organizations are coming together to take advantage of emerging technologies and build a state-of-the-art Community Media Center to meet the growing needs of the midpeninsula. The new organization will be headed by Board President, Seth Fearey, and newly appointed Executive Director, Annie Niehaus.

Media Center Takes Top Honors
On October 28, 2000, the Media Center won the annual Overall Excellence Award, from the Western States Region of the Alliance for Community TV. In July, 2000, the Media Center received the same annual award in the national competition of the Alliance for Community Media.

Congratulations to all the producers for their diverse and empowering programming!!
