Digiquest Summer Workshops

We are happy to announce our Digiquest Summer Camp Schedule for the summer of 2012! Digiquest is a series of Summer camps for students students in Silicon Valley to explore television and filmmaking! In week-long sessions, students will work with their peers from Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, and beyond to create TV shows, videos, and animations! This summer, we're loading our schedule with camps for all ages! All camps run Monday-Friday from 9:30-3:30, and are instructed by talented and fun industry professionals!



Advanced Animation & Special Effects

In this animation summer camp, your student will learn all the skills they need to add their favorite movie effects to their own productions! Using Adobe After Effects, students will learn to create everything from spectacular laser battles to life-like 3D objects, and use "Green Screen" technology to interact with their digital creations. They'll also compile multiple effects into polished sequences. A "must take" class for any budding DIY Film-maker!

Tuition: $450

Ages: 12-16

Limit: 8 per Workshop Session

Workshop dates:

Session 1: July 23 - July 27 - - Session is Full!
Session 2: July 30 - Aug. 3

Note: It is recommended students in this course have previous experience with video editing software.


TV Studio Production

In this TV Summer Camp, students will learn all the tools of the trade needed to produce a live-to-tape television broadcast in our Award-Winning Studio! They'll build sets, run cameras, act, direct, and write their own shows!This is an awesome course for Middle School students looking to explore their interest in television. Plus, after completing this camp, students will be Certified to be studio crew members for all kinds of Media Center Productions!

Advanced TV Studio for High Schoolers

If your high school student has been involved with TV studio production in the past and wants to take their skills to the next level, this is the class for them! By combining elements of journalism with our technical curriculum, students will create an impactful television program about an issue the Silicon Valley Community.

They'll act as producers, crew, and journalists under the guidance of their instructors. Gauranteed to be a challenging and unique week, and a great resume builder for high school publications and broadcasts!

Tuition: $450

Limit: 10 per Workshop Session

Workshop date:

Session 1: July 30 - Aug 3

Note: It's recommended students have previous studio experience before entering this class.


Location and Time

All Summer Programs are Monday thru Friday 9:30am - 3:30pm at the Media Center - 900 San Antonio Rd, Palo Alto. Students should pack a lunch and light sweater. Morning and Afternoon snacks will be provided by the Media Center.
