EQUIPMENT & FACILITIES
In June, 2003 the Media Center moved to its current
building at 900 San Antonio in Palo Alto. Thanks to
the subscribers of the former Cable Co-op, who directed
a large part of the profits from the sale to AT&T
to the Media Center, we were able to purchase this
building and design it to our specifications. We were
also able to upgrade much of our equipment.
Producers
and crew now enjoy a very beautiful, high-end studio
and control room, as well as roomy edit suites, viewing
areas, a “green” room (painted gold), and
dubbing facilities. Programming is now cablecast from
an automated playback server. We also installed satellite
dishes to pull in additional programs of interest to
community groups. The Pacific Art League keeps our
walls vibrant with changing exhibitions. There is
plenty of parking. Come visit soon!

"The Media Center has been such an amazing
place to learn the ropes of media production. The staff has always been so
supportive of me and my ideas, from experimental performance to social justice
to music, poetry and dance. It is such an incredible feeling to make shows that
I believe in, and to do so with nice people who are skilled at what they do and
want to help me make a professional product. ”
