PRODUCE
COMMUNITY TV SHOWS
The Media Center is a place to fulfill your dreams,
have creative fun, or just get your message out to
the community.
You can borrow cameras and record an event. You can tape
interviews and visuals to edit a documentary. You can
create a studio show with pre-produced, edited clips.
And so much more listed on the Production
Types page.
We
have digital cameras, digital editing systems, a beautiful
studio and control room to make available for your projects
at nominal, subsidized rates.
This section details the
process and provides the forms you need to get underway.
There is no experience necessary.
We’ll teach you what you need to know.
We expect
that your production will be non-commercial and will
air on the community cable channels; that you
live or work in our service area (Palo Alto, East Palo
Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, & Stanford); that you
will take classes or demonstrate your competence with
the equipment; and that you will treat the equipment
well.
Get started by attending an Orientation
Class.
If you can’t make it, call for an appointment. |
