Gardening Rhythms

Gardening Rhythms is a comprehensive urban gardening show (for any skill level gardener) embracing the wisdom of traditional farming systems, modern scientific and technological knowledge. The show has a lot of eye-candy. The Producer and Host of Gardening Rhythms career in gardening began at the tender age of 10 when he started a professional arborist business.

His father, who holds a graduate degree in Agriculture from OSU, taught him how to prune trees using loppers and a chain saw at the age of 10. At 13, he expanded into beekeeping. And his entrepreneurial pursuits continued through college with full landscaping design and installation of residential gardens.

Humanist Community Forum

The Humanist Community Forum is held every Sunday morning from 11am until noon at the Student Center in the middle of Palo Alto High School (on the corner of El Camino Real and Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto). A lunch is served immediately after the Forum. The Forum features a wide variety of speakers speaking on a wide variety of interesting topics. The Humanist Community believes in compassion, fairness, happiness, reason, and science.

Just take our popular Studio TV production class, and we'll train you in everything needed to produce a TV show--Cameras, Director, Switcher, Audio, Graphics, even on-camera talent! Our 5-night studio TV class is presented every month, and at the end the class a 1/2 hour TV show is produced. Scary Cow Films

Scary Cow is a 200-member cooperative, based in San Francisco. Members pool resources and know-how to make short independent films, with either no budget or with money awarded from a prior film. Films are made every 4 months, and the final product is shown on a big screen film festival in San Francisco. Money is awarded to films, with prizes going toward the making of future films. Many Scary Cow films are shot in part at the Media Center.
