Amazon Kindle and Sony e-Book Readers Come To Town(1:03)
The Amazon Kindle, and the Sony e-Book Reader, both use a display technology called e-Ink. This technology uses very little power to "paint" a page of text, so a very light reading device can be designed to closely approximate a small book.

Poor Maintenance at Mitchell Park Library(1:46)
This video is another example of the poor maintenance practices of the managers of the Mitchell Park Library and Facilities Department of the City of Palo Alto. At some unknown point in time, the lighting fixture illuminating the Mitchell Park Sign was vandalized--sometime before January, 2008. No one associated with the Mitchell Park Library has noticed, or bothered to request that this fixture be repaired, or replaced.

Palo Alto High Students Respond to alleged Hate Crime(12:29)
Palo Alto High School students respond to the February 12, Oxnard, California school shooting which resulted in the death of Lawrence King. The shooting was deemed a premeditated hate crime as the motive concerned King's sexual orientation. Taped and edited by The Working Group, producers of the "Not In Our Town" series on KQED-TV.
